At the end...

Years ago, after the world as we knew it ended, fate brought Post Rapture Party together spinning sadness, fury, regret, romance and passion in the darkest of days and the brightest of nights into music for those left behind. They will always be working, creating and perfecting our stories for your entertainment even in the most mundane moments of life.

Finding themselves awash with so many cast-aways, they stay in the fortress of Seattle, safely amongst other artists, musicians and the baristas to  live our shadow life.

Post Rapture Party was formed in May of 2011 in the shadow of the EMP and Science Fiction Museum. Folklife served as a back drop for meeting what would become a tight night group. Noccie, the singer, has a voice like Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane) and Siouxsie (Siouxsie and the Banshees). The vocal style is paired with jazzy bass and drums and with haunting guitar.

Our music is described as, doom metal, retro metal, pscyhedellic rock, dark indie, shoegazer and melodic rock. We are influenced by icons such as Janis Joplin and Siouxsie and the Banshees but also have varied influences stemming from Nancy Sinatra, Janis Joplin, Sigur Ros, and Black Sabbath. The music has a jazzy quality mixed with the haunting dulcet vocals and death rock guitars and beats and the bluesy bass rock of the 1960's psychedelics.

Female fronted,  Noccie, the singer has a commanding voice calling you to imagine the world she sings into being. Ashe on guitar haunts the stage filling the air with layers of sound. Kane beats out the frustrations of our world on the drums. Maxx fills in the mysterious air with synth and guitar. Lia, our newest member, keeps us all in line with her magical bass lines.
